Headache: New onset headaches have to be evaluated with imaging (mri)to rule out other causes. If negative and if the pain is mostly on the forehead area and a little above that lasting for few seconds , appearing at different sites in the above area , it could be ice pick headache(primary stabbing headache). Melatonin is thought to be good for this kind headache. See a neurologist.

Sharp headaches: Please get evaluated. This may be something called trigeminal neuralgia. You really need to explain the pain more so that someone can diagnose it. For now, since you having severe headaches you should follow up with your doctor asap to be evaluated to make sure you dont have any more concerning issues like stroke, aneurysms, masses, or vasospasm which could cause the pain. For pain use tylenol (acetaminophen).
