What is a cluster headache? i often get migraines that last about 10 to 12 hours and it feels like my head is going to explode. it stops normal tasks.

Two answers: You sound like you have migraines. Migraine is far more common than cluster headaches. Cluster headaches have a very specific and distressing pattern.
