Naltrexone question: im 30, i was addicted to heroin and have been on 50mg of this fora few months now. im worried about my liver. how long should an adult take 50mg for before being checked?

Elevated liver enzymes are a common side effect of naltrexone. If your baseline liver function is normal, checking liver enzymes in 3 months after using and if there is no change, you should be fine. If you have underlying liver disease such as chronic viral hepatitis or alcoholic hepatitis, I would check liver enzymes in 2-4 weeks after starting this med.
