How do you know if you have a infection after a tonsectomy? i had it on april 28th 2022. now on my left side there is a white patch back there and it hurts a little. i see the surgeon that did the surgery on the 25th?

Its probably a deposit from what you ate or healing process. Infection would have caused pain/swelling/fever. Use some saline gargles and see your MD as scheduled.
