I had a fertility scan which showed a corpus luteum on my right ovary so i've recently ovulated but my endometrium was trilaminar which the doctor said means it's ready for an egg to implant. if i've already ovulated is it too late for fertilization?

Yes, it is late because the egg has to be fertilized within 24 hours.
