A member asked:

Can calcium supplement improve with t-score results -2.2 and -0.6? age 58?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I gather that you have had DEXA scan to screen for osteoporosis. Your t -score is indicative that you have sufficient changes in your Bone Density that you should consider going to an endocrinologist to discuss the need for active treatment which involves medicines which are more effective than taking Calcium alone. The best drugs belong to a category called Bis-phosphonates, example : Zoledronic
