Calcium: The supplements helps if needed. However, the majority of people get enough calcium in the diet. If you live in continental United States above latitude of Cincinnati Vitamin D is not converted to D3. Probably more of an issue. So Vitamin D3 supplementation from October to May helpful. It is true that too much calcium can lead to problems.
