Avoid direct sun exposure, and review sun safety for infants on the AAP website. Avoid dehydration by providing additional feedings and 4 oz of sterile water twice daily as needed, after discussion with a physician. A virtual consultation with Healthtap is available. Watch for dry diapers, red, dry skin and lethargy.
