Mitral valve repaired 9 yrs ago with annuloplasty ring (prosthetic material) would like tooth implants my heart surgeon said it's high risk for endocarditis.a mitral-redo surgeon said no risk as ring is part of my body covered in healing .options?

Risk of bacterial endocarditis with any prosthetic material in the heart is present but there is no contraindication for tooth implant. You can take prophylactic antibiotic, pre and post procedure, as recommended by American Heart Association and your dentist well knows about it.
