Petechiae implies tiny bleeding spots under the skin. Bleeding from shaving your skin would be visible on the surface. I would let this area cool down for one week and then reassess the status of the spots that you have noticed. Anything related to shaving will be gone within one week. If you see new lesions after 1 week, that would require medical examination from your PCP.

Petechiae (or purpura which is more of what you are describing) should not be from shaving, sweating, or showering. A rash certainly could be from any of those. It would be best to have someone look at these spots, either in person or with a video consult, which we cannot do on this section of the platform. You can do a consult on the paid area: https://www.healthtap.com/clinical-service/urgent-care/
