I have hypertension. usually around 140s/90s in the morning before i take my pill. i usually am around the upper 120s/70s. is this good? should it be lower? i take 5mg nebivolol once in the morning and once at night?

I would not consider that good control. The idea is to keep you in a normal range all day. The pills you take should reach a steady state of effectiveness 24/7. I would discuss this with your doc.
