Can low doses of metoprolol (12.5mg) cause anxiety? i feel anxious at the end of the day and the morning of prior to the medicine kicking in(i take at 9 am). almost like im withdrawing everyday from the med. is this possible?

Nervousness, anxiety, impaired alertness are rare (0.01-0.1%) side effects of Metoprolol. 12.5 mg is a very low dose so you can stop it without concerning about rebound effect. If those symptoms subside without metoprolol then you know the answer.
