True, OCD rarely if ever is curable, but usually it can be effectively managed with counseling, sometimes with medication as well. People with OCD often find themselves more focused on one or a few health issues. In your case, it's HIV -- but it's otherwise not a special kind of OCD. Discuss further with your psychiatrist.
