Hi dr i have a query in cbc test if lymphocytes analyte is less or more than ref range 20-40 that means the person is might have a viral infection such as influenza,hiv & hepatitis.patient is to take influenza,hiv & hpv test for better treatment?

Lymphocyte counts slightly above or below the normal range usually are not important, and there are many possible causes other than these or other viral infections. Whether you need testing depends on symptoms, potential exposure, and other information. Discuss with your doctor before you get tested for anything.

All tests are to be interpreted in co=relation with the patient's symptoms. There are also many reasons other than the ones you mention . Let the ordering MD interpret and explain it to you.
