Breo is a once daily medication and the conversion between the two inhalers should be safe, and the side effects are similar. Advair is typically used twice daily. Check with your PCP regarding the starting dose for Breo. If you are well controlled, staring at the lower Breo dose may be advisable. Rinse mouth after use and watch for signs of wheezing, shortness of breath, and cough.
