Continue to breastfeed and to supplement. Mucus may be one cause of this finding, and if your baby is otherwise well, and growing within normal range, there is usually no need to worry. Please follow up with your Pediatrician. Watch for signs of blood, rash and cold symptoms, and if these develop, see your Pediatrician right away.
