I have been having shortness of breath. prior to the onset of that i was right sided chest pain. i was told i have pleurisy. i had a normal chest x-ray. the pain has almost went away completely. is it normal to still have the shortness of breath?

Shortness of breath with a normal x ray should be further evaluated, a cardiac condition excluded. Possible triggers, wheezing, cough should be noted. Monitor temperature and consider a PCR COVID 19 test. Is the shortness of breath worsened with exertion? Is there associated dizziness, fainting? Avoid smoke exposure, and please follow up.
