I recently test positive for covid 19 and have mild asthma. at what point or what symptoms might i want to seek medical care?

Difficulty breathing or O2 saturation under 93%. If you have the more common now omicron strain you may just have a headache/sore throat and or no symptoms at your age. Discuss any changes that worry you with your doc.

Continue your asthma plan and usual medications. If you experience chest tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing, prolonged cough, please see a physician. If in distress, proceed to the Emergency room. Keep well hydrated, avoid allergic triggers and smoke exposure. A virtual consultation with Healthtap is available.
