I had a drain/sutures from penetrating abdominal wound, and drain/sutures removed two wks ago. nurse forgot to remove at least 2 sutures and i believe they're becoming embedded, also painful. is this an emergency situation or something less urgent?

A non-urgent condition is described, which can be resolved by seeing your physician, with the remaining sutures removed with the addition of a local anesthetic.
