This could be LEUKOPLAKIA, a white lesion that is premalignant. Best see an oral surgeon for a biopsy and treatment.

I am concerned that after multiple examinations your tongue has not been physically examined. You may be suffering from a number of different issues, including burning mouth syndrome. My recommendation is to see a hospital based oral pathologist, someone who specializes in disorders of the mouth.

Have a chronic irritation on side of tongue from tooth digging in. Had tooth file down, but did not help. I asked Dentist to make it blunt and round as possible but he didnt. could putting some bonding temporarily to make tooth edge less sharp help?
