Is tenting of left hemidiaphragm the same as elevated diaphragm? i've been told i have tenting but wasn't explained what this means. recently diagnosed with mals syndrome, nutcracker syndrome, may thurner, and possibly thoracic outlet syndrome?

No, diaphragm tenting is different from elevated diaphragm. Tenting means peaked or tented appearance of a hemidiaphragm which can occur in the setting of lobar collapse or after a partial lung resection (lobectomy) or it can be a normal variation in some people, i.e. you are born with that (a congenital condition).
