Small black area underneath big toenails. nails havent grown. has been there for 6 months. initially thought it was because of wearing ill fitting shoes during a wedding but its still there after months. nail growing sideways, a little swollen/pain?

My sense is that repeated trauma from your footwear is responsible for the black discoloration in both great toenails. I doubt the presence of a fungus infection. If you still have concerns, a podiatrist is best to evaluate and advise you.
