there is some swelling under my toe nail on the big toe. at times puss comes from the swollen area on top of the nail. help?

Nail bed infection: It sounds like there is infection in the nail bed. You may need an incision around that area to let the pus completely drained with or without antibiotic.

Soak: Soak it in warm water and see a podiatrist. A portion of the nail may need to be removed to resolve the problem.
