A member asked:

Im getting a sinus infection almost every month.i have all the symptoms severe facial pain, headache.the pain is almost to the point i can barely tolerate it.mucus from my nose is clear.this started only 1 day ago.can colds mimic a sinus infection?

Repeated sinus pain as you describe should be investigated by an ENT specialist (ears/nose/throat) Allergies are the most likely cause, though repeated viral infections could possibly factor in to the mix. If you have been treated with antibiotics each month, there might be a resistant bacterial infection or possibly even a fungal infection, though both of these are less likely.
