Hi! my dr told me to go on iodine/sea salt free diet for 3 weeks thus to avoid fish, dairy products etc.. does whey protein (whey is derivative of milk) contain iodine? or should i drink vegan protein?

Soy products, main sources of vegan protein, such as soy sauce, soy milk, and tofu contain PLENTY of iodine. You should avoid any dairy products and sea foods. Unprocessed meats, including beef, pork, and poultry are fine to consume and those are good protein source for you.
