If not due to STD, a urine culture should have shown a bacteria of the kind that commonly cause non-STD urinary tract infections, like E. coli and others. That bacteria should have been tested to determine the best antibiotic. If that is cipro or similar drug, take it as directed. If culture was negative (no bacteria), then you likely have non-infectious epididymitis, and no antibiotic will help.

You should see a Urologist. In the meantime wear a scrotal support, take Ibuprofen and use local heat. I hope you feel better
