Hello i have a question regarding my daughters height. puberty start at age 12. she is a a 14. yr. old girl, 53.5, mom is 53 ish and dad is around 661. all her relatives from both sides are tall. how tall do you think her adult height would be?

A growth spurt usually occurs with the beginning of development for girls. The good news is that she appears to be following that pattern. The bad news is that once regular periods start the estrogen that is secreted for that purpose closes the epiphysis which is an area at the end of the long bones which will curtail further growth in height.

The expected final female height is the average of both parents less 2.5 inches +/-. Here that suggests 5'8" +/-. As Dr. Ingram notes, menses is a marker signaling the eventual ending of more linear growth, with height increases usually stopping 2-3 year after the first cycle.
