Are swollen lymph nodes common with people who have been diagnosed with pityriasis rosea? ive had it for three weeks, and its clearing up, but i noticed that my necks lymph nodes are swollen, and my armpit and groin hurts a bit?

No, lymph node enlargement usually doesn't occur. Make sure you have been tested for syphilis, especially if at risk for STI. The rash of secondary syphilis often is very similar to pityriasis, and also can cause widespread lymph node inflammation.
