How likely is it to have lung cancer with no symptoms? my mom (60f) is getting screened as a precaution, sense she used to smoke (switched to electronic). can she have it with no symptoms? would she be is serious danger?

Early lung cancer may have no symptom at all. Chronic cough is probably the most common and early symptom. Screening for lung cancer with low radiation chest CT should be done for your mom but it does not mean she will have cancer, there is nothing to concern at this point.
