My 12 year old son keeps having daily nose bleeds. they stop after a few minutes but he can just be sitting there watching tele or laying in bed and it happens. could this be something serious?

It’s most likely either from dryness in his environment and/or his picking or rubbing his nose or blowing his nose a lot. Try running a humidifier in his room and applying petroleum jelly to the inside center (septum) of his nose at night. If he is having other bleeding or easy bruising or this continues or it’s hard to stop, please contact his doctor.
