Is nonspecific st changes of concern? my son recently was seen in the er for chest pain that radiated to his jaw. they did a ecg which showed nonspecific st changes and his troponion was 1.2?

What is the normal range of the troponin level at that hospital? Different labs have different ranges & different troponin tests. If his troponin was elevated and he had symptoms consistent with cardiac inflammation those EKG changes could be significant. I assume there isn't an old EKG on him for a comparison. Viral myocarditis or a pericarditis are possibilities. A cardiac consultation is advisa
