56 yr old female. went to er with chest pain,also in neck jaw and sweats. troponin was normal. 2 ecgs ( 2 and 6 hours after the episode) were normal but there was low qrs voltage in precordial leads. the 1st qrsd was100- the second was 84. meaning?

If this patient had an EKG in the recent past with normal QRS voltage, echocardiogram should be done to check left ventricle function and rule out pericardial effusion. A simple thyroid function test, i.e. TSH level, should be added as well.
