It is premature for you to worry about these conditions. If you only have fat around the waist, reduce carbohydrate intake and increase exercise with paying attention to the abdominal area, you should be fine in the future. Concern about abdominal fat, insulin resistance, DM and heart disease is good but do not obsess and lose your sleep over those. Diet and exercise are your effective weapons.
