I am experiencing sciatica pain it's worse at night. it aches like right down to my bone and it goes from the top of my butt down to my toes. why does this happen and what can i do to fix?

If indeed this is true sciatica, important to rule out ruptured disc, or less commonly, evaluate for peripheral location such as pyriformis syndrome. Your doctor can examine and decide upon appropriate imaging, and even an EMG study. Medication and physical therapy could be employed to stabilize. Be proactive and get your doctor involved ASAP. There are many causes for your symptoms. If the pain presents itself while standing or walking, pain could be due to. Rotated pelvis or a limb length difference or both. Because of your age without trauma biomechanical imbalance should be considered.
