I had an emergency c section almost 7 months ago and it still hurt on one side of my scar from the inside and the doc only prescribed ibuprofen for several months and i already had a sonogram to check for hernia but is negative what could it be pain?

I recommend asking the gynecologic surgeon to examine you & determine whether there could be retained sutures, an abscess or adhesions as a cause of your ongoing discomfort.

There could be one of many reasons. Neg ultrasound is a good sign. Irritation from a nerve in the scar, adhesions are some. Use local heat mild abdominal exercises and local pain patches/ointment for a few weeks. If not better go for a re=evaluation. I think you will improve. Good luck.
