A simple "flat plate x-ray" of the abdomen gives some limited information, The more specific information desired the more involved the study will be. If you are trying to get clear and dependable information that will exclude the "bad stuff" you must have the added detail found in more invasive studies.

You can prepare the colon for colonoscopy without enema and you may choose to have the colonoscopy without sedation.

Hello, I currently suffer from anemia from a lack of vitamin B12 and take supplements for it. I am ashamed to admit I experimented with alcohol enemas multiple times. Should/how do I ask my family doctor to test for this? Maybe colon cancer etc?
