Saline enemas: I know of no evidence that saline enemas are either cleansing or healthy. I recommend you go to UpToDate and look it up.

Like most holistic remedies there are no long term double blind studies to back them up. Only supported by anecdotal reports and folklore. Colon cleanses are worthless !!!!
