What is normal spo2 on a finger oximeter? mine regularly fluctuates down to 96%. is this bad?

The oximeter shoots a light beam through the tissue & this may read lower transiently for a variety of reasons. 96% is fine. Below 92% would suggest a true problem. As the batteries get weaker it may also be less accurate.
