A member asked:

If someone clips an oximeter 2 their finger & monitors it for 10 minutes, is it common 2 see it drop to 90, but then immediately back up to 98? in other words, it's at 90 for no more than a few seconds & then within a few seconds more, back to normal?

Oximeter: Home devices for O2 and even some Dr office devices are not very stable or accurate. Moving away from your finger or pressing harder will vary sensed O2. You could pu a rubber band around your finger and see the O2 plummet.
