Congratulations. Losing weight. reducing salt intake and increasing K intake will lower BP. Perhaps. you no longer need BP meds. Discuss with your Dr about stopping or decreasing/stopping meds further. The best way to avoid the need for BP meds is to move to the DASH eating plan. Get this book. Blood pressure of 105/57 is not too low but your standing blood pressure is probably much lower than that when you change your position. Yes, you should hold Dyazide for 2 weeks than have your blood pressure checked again, both sitting and standing, goal is less than 130/80 for your age, continue to lower your weight more if you are still overweight with low salt and low calories diet and exercise
