A member asked:

What qualifies as a progesterone rise in the luteal phase? what should urine pdg measurements be, and how long should they stay at that level?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The progesterone (serum) or PdG (urine) should both rise above 5, usually above 10, and might even go into the 30's. There appears to otherwise be no significance to the exact peak, and the PdG will also be affected by how concentrated the urine is. They will stay generally elevated until menses or if a pregnancy has occurred.
