A member asked:

Testing progesterone, lh, & estrogen daily w/home urine test. pdg ranged 5.3-12.6 ug/ml before lh spike. has remained over 30 ug/ml after lh spike. no bbt rise. are these values (pre and post lh spike) too high for ovulation to occur? currently cd26?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

At 39, if your periods are still regular (24-32 days apart) "CD 26" may be after ovulation has occurred. If your ovulation is delayed, it may be caused by aging eggs, which require a higher level of FSH before ovulation will occur, which delays onset of your cycle. If you are pursuing pregnancy, see a reproductive endocrinologist for guidance and ovulation induction.
