Back of throat looks very red and raw but it doesn't hurt, and i feel fine except my lymph nodes feel tender, none of them are swollen they just feel a bit sore... i have no fever... do i need antibiotics or is this serious?

No, there is no need and no indication for antibiotic. If you truly have acute pharyngitis, virus is often the pathogen and antibiotic does not have any effect. You can take Tylenol as needed for fever above 101 or pain.
