Sore throat/ URTI: Sound like you have an upper respiratory tract infection(URTI). May be viral, coxsackie, or bacterial strep. Would follow up with ER/urgent care to check for strep as you may benefit from antibiotics. if not allergic Motrin/Advil, Aleve may decrease some of the swelling/tenderness/fever but if you feel tight breathing with mouth open call 911 or go now to ER or urgent care
