It is not contraindicated in diabetic foot infection. The right statement is by Drugs.com: tigecycline is not indicated for the treatment of diabetic foot infections. A clinical trial failed to demonstrate non-inferiority of tigecycline for injection for treatment of diabetic foot infections.
