Majority of irregular heart beats are benign, however they can create significant anxiety. A 2 D-echo and/or ekg cannot rule out arrhythmias and if the suspicion for significant arrhythmias remains high, medium to long term recording will be needed with the help of a loop recorder. Your cardiologist remains your best reference going forward.
