Son, 35, woke up with soreness on both his sides about 4 inches under the center of the armpits.. soreness occurs with movement only, no other symptoms and no swelling anywhere, very concerned, is this serious? fearful of lymphoma?

Please note enlarged lymph nodes due to lymphoma usually do not cause pain or discomfort unless massive enlargement. He should get physical examination from his primary care to check rib tenderness or any other cause for enlarged lymhnodes like infection etc. or is it his work related .
