Why did my hand all of a sudden yesterday feel like it swelled up for no reason. i wasnt doing anything with it, it was really painful and it did this for a couple of minutes, its done that before, my foot has done it too when ive been walking,so why?

Since sudden foot pains occur at times when walking, I would suspect some muscle, bone, tendon or ligament cause. As for the hand I would add a possible nerve irritability or pinching as another possibility. Of course a fleeting sharp nerve pain could also occur in the foot.
