Spotting (minor vaginal bleeding between periods) is a common occurrence and usually nothing to worry about. Spotting is often due to hormonal imbalance. If you had no problem with routine PAP smear in the past, you should not worry too much. However, if it persists or recurs frequently, a GYN visit is recommended.
