In my fathers usg report found gall bladder is grossly contracted. lumen shows calculi. walls are normal. problem is gas and digestion problem sometimes vomiting. in xray chest pa view the bony thoracic cage is intact age 63 yrs. kindly suggest?

Upper endoscopy (EGD) with biopsy for ruling out H. pylorii infection should be considered. If there is no evidence of gastroduodenal pathology by direct exam and biopsy, cholecystectomy may be required.

https://www.healthline.com/health/contracted-gallbladder#treatment Would also consider a HIDA scan to assess function of the gallbladder and endoscopy with testing for H pylori , and assessment for celiac disease and other food intolerances to rule out other causes of abdominal discomfort . If the only issue is the gallbladder may consider ERCP or surgery. Follow up with gastroenterology
